Section 42
Compensation must be paid immediately
: (1) The offender must pay the compensation made in accordance with this paragraph immediately.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), if such person fails to pay the compensation immediately, if any property is given as security for that, the court may order that the compensation be paid in three installments at the most within one year.
(3) If compensation is not paid according to sub-section (1) or (2), the property of such offender shall be confiscated and compensation shall be paid to the victim.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), if such person fails to pay the compensation immediately, if any property is given as security for that, the court may order that the compensation be paid in three installments at the most within one year.
